The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Many tools are there to do those kinds of things, but almost nobody
codes to them. It is easy to correctly monitor and handle *only* the
expected messages, and stop the job on inquiry for anything else. The
job that remains active can be serviced and thus debug started to view
the stack and all of what is available in debug, and the DMPJOB command
dumps static and automatic storage, and other DMPxxx apply to the
serviced job. No clue why so few code to enable nor just use the tools.
Same for commitment control.
There are very few people interested in learning how to do some
things when there is so little payback. That is, "Why learn so much
when so rarely used?", I suppose is the feeling.
Regards, Chuck
