Is the EGL that is available in WDSC 6.0 the same EGL that is in RBDe?
If not, what are the differences?

Well, it is the same EGL but with enhancements as you might expect in any
new release. For example, I believe the Ajax support was added with version
7 (that support is actually pretty well done - I wouldn't have done it the
way they did it, but the end result is very powerful and probably easier to
understand for someone designing web pages).
