Marco,

1 - You can do this without creating a CL program.
ADDJOBSCDE JOB(ITEMMASTER)
CMD(SBMJOB CMD(CPYTOIMPF FROMFILE(EIQRY01/ITEMMASTER)
TOSTMF('/QNTC/10.12.12.2/SHARED/SEAM/ITEMMASTER.TXT')
MBROPT(*REPLACE) RCDDLM(*CRLF)
DTAFMT(*FIXED)) JOB(ITEMMASTER) CCSID(37))
FRQ(*WEEKLY)
SCDDATE(*NONE)
SCDDAY(*ALL)
SCDTIME(0200)
TEXT('Distribute itemmaster to hardcoded IP address')

2 - But, if you want to learn CL programming, which can be done with baby
steps, then I suggest you start at:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/topic/rbam6/clpro.htm

3 - Why not just do a CHGSYSVAL QCCSID to 37 and be done with it? I did.
