I have never liked lists; I will participate, only when available in
the form of a NewsGroup. Use a NewsReader to access the messages from a
NewsServer: news.gmane.org or news.midrange.com
Then it is simple to just ignore or /mark as read/ any thread that
becomes metadiscussion, off-topic w/out a new subject|thread, babble, et al.
