On boxes that cannot be LPARed, or that can be, but aren't, the LPAR
number is, of course, implicitly zero. On those that are LPARed, or that
must be LPARed, it appears that the first LPAR is always 01, and there
cannot be an LPAR zero, or at least, not one running OS/400 (or its
progeny).
Is there a list, somewhere, that indicates which of the existing models
cannot be LPARed, which ones cannot have an LPAR zero, and which ones
might go either way? And should I expect LPAR zero to show up on any new
models?
