Well, we had another power failure. The great news is that the UPS worked
fine. Also, our huge automatic natural gas fed generator outside kicked
in so fast that we hardly noticed a flicker in the overhead lighting.
Meanwhile people around for miles are in the dark for about 30 minutes.
Had to go and IPL an i5 at a company in this complex (a spin off) whose IT
guy is on a bus full of kids to Cedar Point.
A couple of SU's (like me) who realized that their pc was plugged into the
wrong socket and wasn't on their personal desk UPS noticed a few burps.
Luckily it was a laptop that only complained that it was undocked. Kept
5250 sessions and stuff going though.
