I like the online better; at least you can click on the links and get to 
the proper part.  The hardcopy gets a LOT of post it notes pasted in it to 
mark the flip flopping of pages.

The main advantage of the hard copy is if you do your upgrade during the 
weekend (like most people) and then IBM decides that is the opportune time 
to update InfoCenter and drops it during your upgrade.

You can install InfoCenter local and proceed from there.  If so I'd get 
the latest updates also.  IBM constantly upgrades the "Memo to Users" etc 
so do NOT rely on a 1 year old copy.

Um, if you install InfoCenter local (as a backup measure) you may not want 
to install it on an IXS card controlled by the lpar that you are 
upgrading; like where I stored my Mimix Runbook during my first switch 
testing.  (Doh!)
