Doug -That is interesting and sad, since the original vendor of this package (ACS Network Systems / Premenos) provided excellent support for the AS/400-based EDI package.
(At least when I was using their assistance back in the early 1990's...) - sjl----- Original Message ----- From: "Hart, Doug" <Doug.Hart@xxxxxxx>

We have a large number of 3rd party vendors software and I have to disagree with you on one point. Innovis is one of the worst vendors to get support from. -- Doug Hart -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Darrell A Martin Sent: Monday, February 12, 2007 2:29 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: Outsourcing/Offshoring <cut> Note: the four software packages running on our AS/400 that are most crucial to our organization all have support located in the U.S.A. (or it is so well disguised that we can't tell, which amounts to the same thing [grin]). Two are outstanding (IBM, Help/Systems); one is less than stellar, but adequate, based on my experience (Inovis); and one no longer supports us, that being our decision -- we have heavily modified and enhanced the package. <cut> ************************************This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are proprietary and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
