One way is to:
1 - Make sure you compile your programs with LVLCHK(*YES).
2 - Assuming it is RPGLE, use USROPN on your F spec
3 - When you OPEN the file if it generates an error, and %error determines 
it to be a level check then you know you have an issue to deal with.
