Vern, Once again... a true solutions man. Good idea. I'll see which method is easier to create and use. Often, doing FTP because I do it so much is easier than moving things to the IFS and mapping to that drive but I'll see. This only because the i5 and my network are not the same and very little has a DSN entry in a common directory so you have to map manually. But, who knows, IFS may turn out to be easier. And yes, REXX is very powerful and common in IBM. Makes me wonder why people use CL. But I guess its like those that got used to JCL on MVS and VSE or EXEC in VM. Thanks again, Dave
