Your i5 will reboot all on it's own so you will definitely want ALL partitions down cold.. It will TAKE SOME TIME and appear to be dead, or at the very least lethargic for some minutes. From the time you commit the change to get back to Standby is 40 minutes or so. Much of that time the thing appears to be powered off and doing nothing. Just let it go and watch the box with the little timer in it, it will keep you appraised of status (sorta). As long as that box is still displayed keep your hands off the keyboard AND the mouse! :o)

5.2.1 HMC firmware is good enough.

I am working on doing my first Firmware update to my HMC. I am

upgrade my Firmware will I need to reboot the I5 or do I just reboot the
HMC??

I don't think I need to upgrade my HMC software, as I'm at Version
5.2.1, HMC Build level 20060502.1 on the HMC code.

Thanks for your help.
