This isn't a question of reloading the 5250. It's usually just a config setting.
Are you saying you get the units, turn them on, and use them?

handhelds? It may already support this function without having to do
something esoteric on the iSeries side.


Unfortunately, the scan guns came with the DOS 5250 preloaded. Not only do we not have docs, but I could not even begin to tell you how we would reload
one of the guns if we had to...

Fortunately, we have never had one of our guns fail in the 5 years they have
been in production (desperately knocking on wood).  With reliability like
this, the folks at Symbol should slap a little 'i' in front of the model
number.
