Not sure what you mean by "in query".    Sounds like you are talking
about it as a product vs. a general statement as in "a query".

The LIKE function is basic to SQL so you can use it.

While I've seen it used as well as a synonym for LIKE, when you are
talking SQL, the only place I've see it used is in PROCEDURES on the
i5.
