If you happen to be on V5R3+ you can use the virtual optical device for SAV/RST. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/index.jsp?topic=/rzaiu/rzaiuvirtualoptical.htm essentially you fillup a virtual jukebox of CD's and then use your regular save commands. It automagicially spans CD's so you do not have to play any games. Take the ISO's and bur them. _____________________________ Bryan Dietz Aktion Associates midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 06/19/2006 12:22:10 PM: -> Is there a way to copy a file from CD in a way similar to the CPYFRMTAP -> command? -> -> The question is asked because I see it as one possible solution to a -> logistical problem.
