If you happen to be on V5R3+ you can use the virtual optical device for 
SAV/RST.

essentially you fillup a virtual jukebox of CD's and then use your regular 
save commands.

It automagicially spans CD's so you do not have to play any games.

Take the ISO's and bur them.
