That's just it! The bloody damned thing runs a test on ITSELF more often than that, but failed to complain even when it crashed 2 AS/400s and a WinDoze box!
We have one spare pack that may or may not be any good. It ain't swollen, though.
Reminds me of the big Exide Loadhog forklift batteries that ran the Zamboni, back at the ice rink. Every so often, a cell would short out, the acid in its jar would boil, and we'd have a nice little corrosive cloud. At least the failure wasn't THAT catastrophic here!
