As others have said, you need an FTP server on the PC. Our Office Integrator product can provide that functionality, and it includes some special things for mail-merge, etc. (www.rjssoftware.com) Then there are all the others - WS-FTP has a server, War-FTPD or something like that is free if you are not part of the military-industrial complex, and I think most XP Pro have it on the install CDs but you need to install separately. OTOH, you can open up QNTC on the iSeries to gain visibility to Windows machines - some limitations - then PC file is handled as if it were on the IFS natively.
