RE: V5R4 Ops Console

Mike/Jim,

The direct connect work from my desktop when connected directly to COM1.  It
fails on my desktop with the USB-to-Serial adaptor, so I'm pretty certain
it's the adaptor.  The laptop used as the console (like most laptops) has no
serial ports, just USB ports.  Worked fine on V5R3, but "Ed" at IBM says ops
console is totally rewritten at V5R4.

I'm just glad I got it working on my PC for now.  No more flip flopping back
and forth to twinax.
