Information regarding purchasing of AS400 server and additional c omponents

All,

I am aiming to purchase a low cost AS400 server, which I can use down the
line in future for education purpose. e.g I am aiming for opening an
education institute, where I can teach basic RPG, CL to other young people
like me and earn some money.
 
I need someone to tell me about the :-
        1) Various components required to make a basic as400 run. Assuming
that I want at least 10-20 connections 
           to be available.
        2) In identifying a low cost model which I can purchase.  

Once I know the cost, I need to compare it with other service providers, who
provide AS400 connection on rent. Probably after figuring that out I will
figure out which way to take.
Also if someone can let me know about any other website where I can get
relevant information, then it would be really great.
