not directly, but the file was in the ifs it was EBCDIC, so a simply copy to library space, SEU then copy back...should do the trick easily, depending on the file size and record length.... Basically have had to do this with spool files several times when the looney beancounting clerk fat fingered check dates, etc.,...much easier to tweek the spool file and change the dates in the transactions file than to redo a huge check run...especially when you're dealing with a client that thinks their computer is nothing more than a big adding machine to make sure the g/l balances... :) :)
