Rob,

good point.  I would think that STRASPBAL with some PF/LF file management
and RGZPFM's where appropriate should keep his disk access about as
effecient as it's going to get...  Obviousely you can't let the platters
get too full or you get past the knee of the curve on queueing...and lose
effeciency there...

And, it also depends on what you're doing.  If you're a heavy SAVF or JRN
user, I would suggest you may want to consider a seperate ASP for those
and
that they be on their own spindles and if REALLY heavy perhaps even
further
isolated.
