Seriously, for those who want to check out good Scandinavian stuff, there is Ingebretsen's, on Lake Street in Minneapolis - lots of good, authentic stuff. http://www.ingebretsens.com

Now, as for lefse, I think I got pretty good at it, although it has been awhile. I don't think I want the lefse concession at COMMON. I still remember at the age of 7 or so blowing the fuse in the old house we lived in while making lefse. She used to sell it at the local mercantile. before I was born.

By the way, you did hear, right, about the football game between the Swedes and the Norwegians? A jet flew over the field. The Swedes thought the sonic boom was the final gun, so they left the field. Four plays later the Norwegians got a touchdown.

(I'm half & half, BTW - can't live with myself!)
