Hi, How i use static data for output is : Use a source file (QMAQSRC) And one Member by Programme (same name) In my programme, on *INZSR, i open QMAQSRC and populate some table with the DATA TA for left part 1-66, TB for middle 67-132 and TC for right part 133-198) I use internal tables for output. The only thing you have to do is, write your "maquette" in the source member ( i use mebers of TXT type and 198 lenght) Hope this give you an idea .... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Booth Martin" <booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, November 03, 2005 4:47 PM Subject: Re: 132 column printer static output I thought about that, but then I don't have a full screen editor that I know of. I looked at RLU. That may, tragically, be the only other answer in the end. --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com --------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: 11/03/05 09:40:30 To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: 132 column printer static output on a more serious note, put them in a PF and read in program to print? Booth Martin <booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:This is another of those simple questions that probably has an elegant answer that I have never thought of. I have a 50 row, 132 column form with a lot of static text. Specifying the static text is cumbersome since I can not figure out a way to program the 132 column fields in an easily editable manner. Is there a full screen editor that allows me to display the text as I want it? You guys must have solved this a long time ago. Does this question make sense? --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com ---------------------------------
