We just tested that and it works great, especially with the PAUSE(*NO) option so the user doesn't get a DOS window with "Press any key to continue...".
There are a few issues with this approach that you may need to consider:a) It's limited to 123 characters at a time. Though, it should be possible to build a batch file this way if you really need to allow more.
b) Some 5250 emulators don't allow this remote command feature. (It can be a security exposure since a user running a green screen program may not expect that it'll do something on his PC.)
c) The format of the command string that you send to the PC is different depending on the operating system that the PC is running. The one I sent you is for Windows, but it wouldn't work if the user was running Linux or Mac or whatever.
I don't know if any of those factors will matter to you or not.
