In the aftermath of 9/11 there was a need for everyone to talk about it. The topic became more important to us than most everything else. You created a list specifically for the people who needed to talk about that, which included me. It was a great cartharsis. I suspect that in the coming days and months, there will be similar due to Katrina impact on the people whose jobs were there, and the impact on the economy and national defense.
Alternatively, there may be lists outside of the midrange dot com family that we ought to be redirected to.
