It appears to be missing from the V5R3 Infocenter. It shows up when you drop back to V5R2 or lower. They went to a new Java interface with V5R3 that didn't like any browser other than Internet Explorer. It now works okay with my Firefox, but early on I was getting warnings that my browser was not supported. So much for standards.

What browser are you using?

I'm running Firefox V1.0.4 and I don't see the advanced search either!

Subject: Info Center Advanced Search

Today I needed to do an advanced search in the V5R3 Info Center and I could not find the button for it. Clicking on Search Tips revealed the following tip:

"To do an advanced search on the iSeries Information Center, when available, click Advanced search, which is to the right of the Go button." Not on *my* screen.

"When Available???" What the heck does that mean? That sometimes there will be no advanced search function? Is this one of those times when it is not available?

Anybody know what happened to V5R3 Advanced Search?

Thanks,
-Marty
