Yes, this is my fall-back position. Using output from my PM data and
the Workload Estimator as a guide, I would probably order the larger
bundle w/ 70GB drives. One thing to keep in mind though is that if you
are going to do RAID you would want to upgrade the 2780 controllers
supplied in the bundle to 5580's that include the auxiliary write
cache. I understand IBM has had trouble with failing 2780s to the
point that you can no longer order them in a RAID configuration but
must order the 5580s instead. The real kicker is that the 5580 lists
for only $795 more than the 2780 but to upgrade a 2780 to a 5580 costs
$2995.
