OK Whoever decided to post 'ifconfig' or 'ipconfig' in restpinse to the original ISERIES question, slap your keying finger it has caused nothing put confusion in this thread.

In respons to Evan's question about showing virtual IP addresses in iNav, yes it does. ALL IP (including the 127.0.0.1 loopback) addresses are shown. They are also shown even if they are down and the status is shown as well.

As to showing which IP address the VIP is bound to, no. You must deduce that bye matching the subnets displayed for each IP that is NOT a VIP to the octets for the VIP. Now if there are more than one that match (i.e. load balancing/failover configured) then you need to right click on the IP address for the Physical line and select ARP. If your VIP appears in that list as 'Proxy' then it's bound to that physical. If not, check the next.physical.

Now that's an ISERIES answer! (and NO keystrokes were required to get it in iNav!)

Do either of these methods include Virtual IP addresses ?
Do they show which adapter the virtual IP address (if you are using one) is bound to ?

This is rather off topic for iSeries, but as far as ifconfig is concerned, the answer is yes. Specifying the interface will give info related to just that interface. Without specifying any interface ifconfig will give info on all known interfaces, including virtual ones. So just 'ifconfig' all by itself will do what you are asking (but keep in mind, ifconfig is not an iSeries command, so the point is rather moot unless you are using some kind of *nix machine - therefore, I will stop talking about it now).
