This is what I see also.

Try  ===> ADDSRVTBLE SERVICE('as-debug') PORT(4026) PROTOCOL('tcp')
TEXT('GRAPHICAL DEBUG SERVER') ALIAS('AS-DEBUG')

Joe,

It might just be looking for an entry in the service table so it knows
what port to use. Do a CFGTCP and take opt 21, config related tables,
then service table.

My V5R2 box has an entry for "as-debug" on port 4026 using protocol tcp.

I tried to start up the Java debugger today, and I got an error:

'as-debug' is not currently registered in the service table on WDSCHOST

So what is this service and how do I start it? I am at V5R1 with the
appropriate PTFs applied, but still not sure.

Joe
