We have ECS setup on all of our systems and partitions. Most use internal modems and the ppp setup (v5r3) was done through OpsNav. We do not have Electronic Service Agent (ESA) configured on most partitions. Since ECS calls home for fixes and reporting errors (DASD, etc.) what are we missing not having ESA configured? I'm having problems getting it to work on systems that have older external modems that don't support ppp. I'll just not use it if it's not needed. -- Doug Hart
