Not to interrupt your rant or anything, but if you investigate what the various forms do, you may find you can just post some values to the server, no human interaction required. Or maybe some other page they provide enables you do do this. Maybe you should be checking that out instead of writing another screed against http, or browsers, or whatever it is that's got you upset.
