Rob, You hit exactly on what I was thinking. The beauty of the AS/400 and a major cause of it's popularity in the past has been the fact that You buy a box, You buy a deveolopment tool, You buy/write software and it does everything. I think they plan on keeping SNA, but making it a big Mainframe style add on. Back in the '80s they were working to give us all the power they had in mainframes, included in the box. Now they are coming full circle, and if they continue this nonsense I think it will be the demise of our box. Dwight
