No, I'd checked all that stuff: I have compile defaults set in Turnover and the customer used one of my existing windows as a model (but I noticed some keywords had vanished). Obviously there's some unexplained behavior that's circumvented by opening and closing the display file; I haven't gone through the RPG code to see if something unnatural is going on.
