Thanks, Carel, I've just finished doing exactly what you suggested and
it's working the way I  want.

I have to think there's a bug somewhere with i5/OS: data from previous
transactions showing up out of the blue is mysterious; it's not like
working with a misdefined parameter.  This solution is good and it's
time to file my tax extension.
