RE: BRMS question

Can one of you explain how these media pools work so well? 

Create a media class   i.e  Day1  (wrkclsbrm)

Create a media policy i.e Monday   assign media class to it (Day1) 
(wrkpcybrm Type(*MED))

Create a backup policy i.e. MON  assing media policy to it (Monday) 
schedule if to only run on Monday,   (WRKPCYBRM TYPE(*BKU) )
