Jeff, If you really want to load the same tape each week. (Why you would *want* to do this escapes me, especially with BRMS, escapes me; but we will leave that for now.) The immediate solution that comes to mind is to put each tape in it's own media pool and schedule the Monday pool for Monday, The Tuesday pool for Tue. etc. This will get to be a big repeated process, but it would allow you to use the same tape each week. For what its worth--last year when the auditors came in, they had a fit when we only kept our daily tapes for 21 days, they wanted to see 28 days-never mind that we kept weekly tapes for 7 weeks. Several years ago we went from a home grown tape backup system to BRMS and have been extremely pleased with it. (BTW Jeff, I'm only about 2 1/2 hours from you if you need some help with this) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Jim Hawkins IBM Certified Specialist AS/400 RPG IV Programmer Iseries.
