But we have lots of ATMs - if your bank card has the Cirrus or Plus network
symbols on it you can use it here just as you would at home.  The exchange
rate is usually very good, and even if a fee is charged it will be way lower
than those charged by the currency folks at the airport.  Can't recall the
last time I used one of those.
