The determination is more granular than that. On a model 170 you had to
buy a certain level, and on a model 270 on the lower end boxes, you had to
buy an optional feature. These are both 9406s.

I believe only the 9406 boxes allow concurrent maintenance. You have to
take down the 9402 to replace a drive, even a mirrored one.
