Hi Art -

We used to send emails using our AS/400 SMTP server.  Now, Cablevision
in NJ blocking port 25 (Comcast did this 2 weeks ago)

Generally if you have a business account with a static IP address, your connectivity provider will allow port 25, but you may have to ask for it to be unblocked.


Otherwise, they should be providing an SMTP server that you can connect to on port 25 and send your email through. The server you send email through and the server where you receive your email don't have to be the same server.
