Have you considered making your own? Using your own database to populate the file? Then build a simple application, perhaps a trigger program, that updates the file as new names are added to A/R or A/P? The USPS will do a one-time purification of your exisiting list for a nominal fee the last time I looked (3 years ago). purification isn't the right word but you know what I mean, right? --------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.martinvt.com --------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: 08/18/04 16:14:28 To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: City/State/County Info by Zip Codes I've been researching web for such tools and there appears to be plenty of them but (as expected), my company isn't interested in a "yearly update" process and some of them are costly. (read that as "don't spend any money to do this") What I'm really shooting to find is a resource that has zipcodes (preferably ranges of zip codes) with City/State/County information for each zip (or range of zips). I only need the US and just want to do this as a "one time" thing. Our customer base does not change much so any maintenance after that is quite minimal (hence, we don't need the regular updates via an outside product). Can anyone suggest where I might find such a (free) resource? I'll take it just about any flavor (txt, excel, access, db2 table, etc.) and massage it to get it into my table. --
