Basically, the improving performance part just talk about turning off QNTC's
default behavior of verifying the availability of every server on the "list"
before showing it on the screen. ( or allowing access via QNTC).

FYI: we do have the environment variable set to not check.

The "list" of servers, is supposed to come from the browse master, which
should be the WINS server if I understand correctly.

What's interesting is that both partitions use the same WINS server.  But
apparently, the primary one was having trouble.
