But you can do this by setting up the MAILROUTER(xxxxx) and FIREWALL(*YES) attributes of SMTP. With MAILROUTER('outgoing.verizon.net') and FIREWALL(*YES) configured, your iSeries will no longer attemp to deliever the mail itself. Instead it will pass it along to the Verizon server to be delivered.
