If the object previously exists on the target (i.e. production), the
authorizations/permissions
of target object are unchanged during the restore.

        Hi All,

I changed *QRYDFN at development and ftp to production the authority
was changed to:

        Object

        User Group Authority

        *GROUP RPGRPPRF *ALL

        *PUBLIC *EXCLUDE

Is this something new or always like that ? It is not the first time I
change at development and ftp to production, so I am wondering if this is a new
security level ?

the PUBLIC authority for the queries was *EXCLUDE. This was causing the
error in running the query. However I changed the PUBLIC authority to *ALL and
ran the query.

        Thanks in adv,
