OK. Dumb question. Is there a particular reason that you don't want to just email the reports to the users rather than clogging up your disk with reports that may never be reviewed? What happens is that the program does not delete or clear the folder first, actually it creates a new folder each month, but is copying the previous months reports. The programmer who wrote this is a 'consultant' who is hard to reach, so rather than try and fix his, I would rather simply get these reports into the IFS and then send it to the users location. Only problem is that I have no prior usage of the IFS in that way. I did read a very interesting Ebook on this subject of the IFS that was mentioned here last week. But the example there was more putting a file onto the IFS, I would like to take the reports that are generated from SpoolMail (the Gumbo product), and direct them accordingly. Perhaps this is fairly easy and someone can list the steps for me to fill in the blanks. Greatly appreciate any help on this, Sorry if a bit vague.
