It also works at security level 50.

The things that work at 30, but not at 40 or 50 are essentially hacks that
violate either privileged instructions or referential integrity.

The way I explain it to non-AS/400 people is thusly:

Security 10 is like having a front door on your building.

Security 20 is like having a locked front door on your building.

Security 30 is like having locked rooms inside your locked building.

Security 40 is like having a guard watching over the locked rooms inside
your locked building.

Security 50 is like having an armed guard watching over the locked rooms
inside your locked building.
