We use a CL program with some unix commands via STRQSH command. Here is a sample which will search through all subdirectories under /www/ directory and delete any files that are 10 days or older with the file name pattern of *log.* ("log" somewhere within the first part of the file name) STRQSH CMD('find /www/ -name "*log.*" -mtime +10 -exec rm {} \;') MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000 QSH0000) Hope this helps, works well for us. Steve
