Two solutions immediately spring to mind: Easy: Use ADDJOBSCDE to run the GRTOBJAUT command automatically each day - dirty, but very easy Harder: Investigate and identify the name of the program(s) that access the dataqueue; it may be feasible to use program authority adoption to give access to the dataqueue; if the object owner of the dataqueue has *ALL rights (usually the case), change the owner of the program to be the same as the dataqueue (CHGOBJOWN command) and change the program attributes (using CHGPGM command) USRPRF(*OWNER) and USEADPAUT(*YES). This may fix the problem, depending on what else the program is doing. Hardest: Get the software developer to amend the code (fix the bug) that is causing this disruption. Kind regards, Jeffrey E.
