IBM drive? Yes.  3580s, for example.
Cost more than an equipped 520? No.  Although depending on your usage,
you may opt for a traditional SCSI-attach instead of fiber. 

BTW, on my 730, saving to the Ultrium2s is faster than using SAVFs.
However, I am constrained by the SPD bus so I can easily see it going
the other way on PCI-X equipped boxes.

Is this Ultrium 2 an IBM drive?  I've had my experiences with non-IBM
tape drives and don't want to go there again.

We have an iSeries 270 and will probably replace with an i5 520 within a
year.  Will this superfast tape drive cost more than the entire system?
