Just a quick follow up thanks to all for the input,

An No I am not afraid of Sockets or C, been using it since it was a PRPQ for the AS/400 on my B35.....

Although I still write APPC code now and then as well... :-)

I wouldn't recommend trying to implement OSCAR unless you're comfortable
with TCP/IP programming, in particular working with TCP and UDP via a
sockets interface.
