Just as a followup to your followup  I downloaded javabot 1.0 (
http://www.nukesoft.org/javabot.shtml ) from here
http://www.nukesoft.org/downloads/AimBot.zip .

this bot allows for carying on a conversation and starting a converation
with another user.
The java source in included and maybe you could hack it up.
