I think you are spot on.  I will do a little research to see if there are 
any negative ramifications, (other than WRKNAMSMTP which we never use), 
and then I'll run with this.  Looks like if I want to mess with this SMTP 
name using either ADDDIRE or CHGDIRE I need to run CVTNAMSMTP anyway.

We did run the CVTNAMSMTP command when we set this system up several 
years ago.  This is a non-reversible command that adds SMTP names to the 
system distribution directory so they can be maintained using the 
WRKDIRE command.  Once this command has been run, the WRKNAMSMTP command 
no longer can be used.  I suspect that the SMTP names will not appear in 
the DSPDIRE output file unless the convertsion has been made.
